Dumb question I know. I have a couple DZ2500's that have a single button remote. The directions say to hook up the white wire of the machine to the white wire of the remote single push button. This works but the question I have is can I hook all the white wires to one single bus line or do I have to have separate wire go back to each remote.

Each switch would need its own white wire; the switch would have no way of knowing which remote was pressed!
If you are using TMCC/Legacy you can control all the switches with a data bus wire, but that is because each switch responds to serial commands sent from the base depending on its ID.
