As I posted in another thread I bought a Red Owl store whose EL sign was non functional (sign power supply is non accessible without serious surgery). Sign is connected to power supply by two wires, no flat ribbon cable. Wondered if a generic Miller Engineering EL power supply would suffice to get sign operational?
Assume EL voltages are "standard" or if others factors play in, ie larger area more current/voltage etc.

Don't most of the Miller Engineering signs also have sequencing so that the animation of the sign works?
John ,Yes most of there signs do have sequencing ability ,but i think that some of them may just have one way to flash only ,perhaps someone can confirm this for sure .
I have EL power supplies, most of them just output the voltage, they don't flash even once. 
If you have a Miller sign, I think you probably want to deal with Miller for the proper controller.
