Today I was at the LHS and the daughter of the owner and another employee told me starter sets are hot sellers this year. Not sure about the rest, though.
Good morning, Jim my wife and I were in Unkle Joe's Woodshed in Altoona PA and they were selling the Lionel Lion Chief Sets like hot cakes.
Trust me they were not selling due to the price they had on these sets.
I know the one gentlemen that works back in their hobby section and he said they had 30 sets before Thanksgiving and at that time they had 2 left.
That was 2 weeks ago.
