This is the new and improved version. Built with parts from HD, Lowes, etc. (I’ve installed 4 of the earlier version)

And yes that is an 0-72 curve into the bridge….

These are the temporary bridges that will be replaced.207EC30D-48C4-4A4A-AEDE-34A8E3FC6380

I actually stopped running my large collection for 4 years, so diisgusted that I couldnt get a hinged setup like yours to replace my duck under. atlas o track, 072. Decided in next 4 days to try a 5th attempt, requiring to cut the trainboard so the dual tracks end at the same spot. really hope you post a materials list, I run to loews asap. I also live in NJ, Edison.and if anyone has succussfully cut atlas o gauge straight track and then run heavy premier steam engines, please let me know        gary

In both cases the T or L brackets are modified slightly, as are the corner braces. Holes drilled and sections, removed/trimmed, etc.

top mount hinge parts, probably easier.625A958D-F253-4536-A0E2-F5048CDB3E76

under mounted hinge partsBF4385D7-EE77-4124-A539-D0EB2912F821

Important notes

- this is the underside of the section that will support the bridges. It needs to have good structural support.(see picture)

-In addition, you are making a right and left hinge..

If you’re wondering what’s going on here, this layout is in Kentucky.
