Hello all-
Thought I would post a few pics of a small engine house I have been working on. The castings (front and side walls), are taken from a Banta/Stoney Creek engine house. The side doors were scratch built from strip wood. I have yet to install the front doors or the other windows (they are all finished, just waiting to near the end of the build so I do not break them off). The stone and wood was colored with pan pastels. The brick was colored with acrylics. I used Stoney Creek vellum on the roof. Did not install the ridge cap, or vents in the roof as of yet.
I am not sure what this will wind up being on my layout, so I have not added any signs. It is too tiny for O scale engines, so it will probably serve as a small warehouse, or shop of some sort.
