A big thank you to Joey Ricard for posting all those scenery videos. For several years I have had a couple of packets of Field Grass floating around, but I never used the stuff because I could not figure out how to quickly and convincingly plant them. Well Joey points out exactly how to do that in one of his videos:

Although its best to watch the video, to summarize Joey's method:
- Take a bunch of field grass and chop it into 3/8"-ish long lengths.
- Roll all the chopped lengths together like a cigar. The cigar will be about 2" long
- Spray a line of 3M 77 where you want the weeds to go
- wait 15 minutes for glue to set
- Pull off a 3/8" long section of the "cigar."
- Plant it into the 3M 77
- Use a dust buster to pull weeds straight. Tease if needed
- Sprinkle dirt/ground cover over remaining base spots between weeds
- Let dry
- Vacuum
- Trim as needed
This is what I got:
