I currently have a 2353 powered A and dummy A units. It seems to be heavy and not much pulling power. Have been looking for another dual motorized unit to help. My question is will a 2333 or 2343 be comparable with what I have, as far as equal running. Also wonder about these newer dual motorized B units, same concerns.

I believe AC motors are a lot more forgiving than DC motors and are not going to fight each other when double-heading.. I don't think a AC and DC motor combination would work very well.
If the motors are all AC why not just give it a try ? How do they compare speed wise if placed one just ahead of the other one ? I don't know of any "B" unit with an AC motor. The E-units can be made to operate as one. (sort of) Sounds like a fun project. good luck.
I would try to find another 2353, run them back to back. with clean track and wheels they would rarely drop into neutral. And you could always turn off the e units. A DC motored B unit is not a good match.
Edit: with 4 AC motors you would need a KW or ZW type transformer.
In my 2353 B unit, I put in a Vertical AC motor and I am controlling it with a Lionel LCRU Command board. It has magnatraction and with three motors working, it is a beast...
