Factory or a repair?

I was just looking at an Ebay lot, and noticed that the engine had both the "scout" style hollow rollers on the motor truck and pickups on the dummy truck. Such a setup is not unusual on early MPC Geeps, but I have never seen it on an Alco before. I cannot tell whether the dummy truck has postwar or modern wheels. Has anybody run across unmodified Alco engines set up this way?
