Charlie,
That is only two towns over from me. It looks great and looks just like it.

Excellent! I grew up in Westfield but drove by Fanwood many times. Someone, I forget who, makes an O gauge stairway overpass that I think would go well with this since I think I recall Fanwood had one of those.
Is that the MicroMark Kit? Very nicely done. I would enjoy seeing how you integrate this on your layout. Send a photo when installed.
Looks good Charlie.
I put together the HO kit of that station. That was a tough build.
nice! I've been to that station. Classic CNJ! Looks a lot like the NY&LB Red Bank station as well
As much as I would like this on my layout the skills required to build it escape me. Fortunately I call Fanwood home and can see the real thing every day
Great job, Charlie. Looks like the real thing!

Charlie....it is just beautiful!! Great job!

when I was very young mom would drop me off at a daycare across from the station, (talking 52-54) family is from scotch plains. PS if anyone is interested I have a partially built o scale station I would part with.
ahhh, but the hot dogs at snuffies, remember them well.
LOL Yep, that's it pass it 8 times a week!
What happened to the plan to get a CNJ caboose on display at Fanwood station?
the bids to restore the caboose were too high. it sits rusting in the recycling center on north ave.
Hi Bob Anson, you mentioned that you have a Fanwood Station kit. How can I get in touch with you, I do not see your email address on file.
Thank you
Bill
Charlie very nice . I like that alot
Charlie wonderful station. Really nice job. Thanks again for the ore cars. I've stripped them and am putting new decals on now. Don
Great looking station, Charlie. Matt
Charlie,
Looks great, well done!!!!!

I picked up one of these at the Strasburg O scale show a year or two ago...and showed
it on here...kitbashed with an added hexagonal tower reminiscent of that station in the
New York wine country, as I wanted it as my headquarters station. This is not that hard to build...parts do need to be prepainted unless you are making it all one color as there can be many contrasting trim parts.
