Hello Everyone,
Beginning my first layout and built my first model. I started with Ameri-Towne and followed the advice I read in the OGR forums and this is the end result. Any tips and advice is welcome before I start building 2.

That is impressive.
If that is your (very) first building, I'm in dire need of a remedial course on model building.
That looks very nice. I also started out with an Ameri-Towne kit a few years ago. Yours came out very well.
Thanks......I have to learn how to make decals on the windows and interior work too
Joe, don't mess with a successful formula. A lot of us with years of experience don't do any better..... and some not nearly as well.
Joe,
Great stuff , drive on!

Excellent work especially the mortar. Only thing I can think of is some added detail like 'office for rent' decal on third floor or a hanging sign ' farmer's market'. Maybe even an awning over the front door. Grocery stores usually had one to shade the produce on the outside.
Thank you everyone...
Looks great!
Some of the little details like Model Structures mentions can really add a lot to a building. There are some great modelers here on the forum that do very nice work. Something I also need to start working on.
Man….thats your first model? I think you got what it takes.Keep us updated.Nick
