Last summer I picked up this roof section for a late 1800's style building.
The walls are made up from pieces of wood paneling.
This building will have a store on the main floor and an apartment on the second floor so I build an outside stairs on one side.
Two dormers are built out on the side and a hexagon dormer is built on the front.
Working on putting the windows together for the store front.
Building up the store front section.
Here is the finished store front area.
I print out patterns for bricks, siding and roofing on paper.
The "bricks" are being glued onto the building.
"Wood" siding is glued onto the dormers.
I printed out a copy of old store interiors and glued them on the wall below the dormers.
Once all the siding is glued on I spray it with a satin clear finish.
The store is going to be a radio sales and repair shop so I printed out some photos of old radios and glued them to a piece of wood.
These are cut out and the sides are painted to match the color on the front of each radio.
Then they are sprayed with a satin clear finish.
These radios are then glued to the display shelf on the inside of the store front.
Here is the finished building.
