I never understood why Lionel and others paint the Virginian train master locomotives blue and yellow. The prototype locomotives were painted BLACK and yellow. Also, the Virginian train masters were run LONG HOOD FORWARD.

My photos do not fit here, but I have 2-railed five K-Line T-Ms and am delighted with appearance and performance. Two of them were shortened to become H 16-66 CNW. I have not had the good fortune to compare them to Bultmann, but they measure up fairly well against brass Sunset. If I were wealthy, I would have Bultmann.

I did take the picture from the wrong side the engineer figures face the long hood. Color wise black would have looked better, But for $100.00 it is a darn nice locomotive.
