I've seen a few comments about folks attending York to see friends and forumites.
Is anyone planning a way to ID forum members? Just take a magic marker and write OGR on their badge? Has anyone made-up stickers to the same effect?

Some folks wear special "OGR Badge Holders" that OGR gave away a while back. Some members add a card to their badge holder as well that displays their forum handle and name. Some have OGR pins. Some folks also have OGR shirts with and without their forum handle on them. Just be on the look out.
I have a OGR pin that I place on my badge. Forum members greet me as long as I cover-over my name.

I thought that was how you tell an RC from a CofE?
I Posted something a while back on making a button 2 1/4 dia pin back type (have a button kit) for myself so that folks could see that you belong to the OGR forum.
Basically copied and pasted the OGR Logo and added My Forum name and the forum I participate the most.
The button material cost is $0.25 plus the printing (My personal ink jet) and the labor? The time do do a button is less than a minute if all the materiel is ready to go (does not include the PC/Print and art work cut out time).
I sure I can use this for my personal use but can not sell with out permission from the owner of "OGR" (infringement/copy rights).
So here is the art work that I did for myself. After the button is made I will wear it on my hat at shows.
Not looking to make this a business, just fun and to meet folks with the same hobby.
Let me know what you think and If the folks at the OGF read this let me know?

You're too funny Joe.

I'm easy to spot - I'm the gray-haired guy wearing a train-themed t-shirt and a railroad logo baseball cap, wandering aimlessly and drooling. Please come up and introduce yourself.

It's actually a top-secret cloning experiment. Still working on the hygiene function.
I just have my forum handle below my badge.

John will what?
Nice Firewood. I think I will just settle for wearing my Detroit 3 Railers shirt. Maybe with an OGR ball cap?
I think something like a large badge or button with the red OGR insignia would be easiest to spot in a crowd.

Gosh, I've never heard that one before.

Well, not that many years ago, more like about 16 months ago.
Like gunrunner, my forum handle is on my badge; I'm also at table I-45 in the Blue Hall. Stop by, say hello, and spend some money.
I have the gray and the black OGR Polo shirts with my forum name on them. Could another run of shirts be in order? BigRail
