Has anyone used 2 control buttons on one switch machine . My idea is to have 2 places on my layout that I can controll my switches. If you have done this where and how did you hook them up?

Bill,
As I understand the situation for quite some time Gargraves has sold it's remote switches with Z-Stuff switch machines (DZ-1000's). For these I believe that the DZ-1002 remote controller is provided. If that's what you have the drawing below should work.
Be aware though that the colors on this diagram, which I modified from Dennis Zander's original showing only one DZ-1002 controller probably don't match the wire colors on the actual DZ1002's themselves You'll have to translate the colors here from red, green and blue to whatever they are on your remote controllers:
For reference you can find Dennis' original here: https://ogrforum.com/...02-internal-circuits)

Yes, you absolutely can use two DZ-1002 two-button controllers with one DZ-1000 switch machine. I have done it on four switches on my layout. The two controllers are simply wired in parallel--yellow to yellow, green to green, and black to black to ground. Of course, there's 15 feet between them!
Ken. Thanks I will give it a try.

Ken,
Except for the fact that those specific colors you've mentioned aren't published anywhere I can find (so I couldn't cite them), isn't that exactly what I said in my diagram?
Maybe a picture isn't actually worth a thousand words after all?

Mike, one concern I had with your drawing is you show L on the switch machine going to R on the controller, and R on the switch machine going to L on the controller.
I thought the wire colors would be an additional help to the OP, although I will say on very old DZ-1002, the wire colors were different.
