I received my kit and took it home for prep and assembly.    It is a fairly good sized group of pieces and I have wanted to get one for some time.     The resin castings are sturdy and have good details.   There is some warping on several.    I am not sure if this is going to be an issue or add character .

tonight I sorted and washed them with warm dish soap and dried them on towels.    Next will be paint inside and out followed by mortar

i hope that the stacks are made available as they are superb in size, design and scale.   Anyone recommend a preferred smoke machine?

thx

Brad if the walls are warped you should think about bracing them on the back with 3/8" or even 1/2" strip wood. you will be much happier when assembling the walls later and it as far easier to do it now. use medium viscosity ACC glue with accelerator (not a lot of play time with this type glue) or 5-minute epoxy. then clamp and or weight the strip wood and when dry the walls will be straight. then proceed per the instructions.
