I am looking for a variable temperature glue gun that can be used to glue miniature lights to ceramic buildings (Dept. 56 / Lemax). These lights would be a string of lights similar to the ones that come 18 per string and operate on 4.5 volts (3 AA batteries). Please provide make, model and glue sticks recommendations. However, given that you can get both low- and high-temperature guns for much less money, I would think that it makes more sense to just get one of each. That way you can keep the correctly-rated glue sticks in each.
Pete ... Thanks for the reply. I was looking at that glue gun prior to posting my inquiry here. The above glue gun is an overkill for the type of work I would be using it for ... it is meant to glue down carpet.
After much web research, I have chosen the BSTPOWER Glue Gun 100W Professional Adjustable Temperature gun. It has total variable temperature, takes full size glue sticks, and people like it for what I will be using it for.
