A friend gave me a whole big coffee can full of golf Tees. I was wondering what could use them for on a layout. Maybe fencing or little bird baths, or bar stools. Don't know what to use them for. Any suggestions?
The bird bath idea sounds good, if you put a little bit of "water" in it and some little birds. Another option, depending on space, could be to make either a golf course or mini-golf course, and put the regular sized tee and golf ball out front as a giant sign.
I took about 20 of them and used them in a diarama of a drive-in movie theater. I put them an my bench grinder and shaved a flat surface on either side. I then took some scrap foam core board and cut it into 1/8 to 1/4 squares. Placed the squares on the flat side if the tee with cement, and painted the entire post silver. They are going to be placed on the earthen humps that the model cars sit on, as the old fashioned car speakers that they use to have in drive-in movie theaters. I knew that I would find a use for them eventually and thought I would share it with everyone.
