Getting ready to ship this grain elevator. the customer wanted it painted to look like 'dirty concrete'. I tried taking nighttime pictures in the laundry room - not so sure how good they are........

Joe a very nice looking structure. The lights look great.
Nicely done Joe.
Well done, Joe & Guy.
Very nice, Joe.
Another nice build.
Concrete elevators like that can be huge, and make even Wigville's above look small,
such as that one the is/was? in southern Kansas, that you might not be able to get
an O scale model of into a pole building. I have several kitbashed and scratchbuilt
elevators, but nary a concrete one..which I should, except there is no room for all
the ones I have. I can't quickly find my book on concrete elevators (found one on
all the breweries that existed in the U.S., for the Atlas reefer craze), but there is
one. The concrete ones LOOK easier to build than the wooden ones. That apparent
simplicity means you have to pay much more attention to minor details, and incorporating them, such as the cyclones on those above.
Guy:
Excellent design!
