Received my factory today from Doug Pitney and Todd Architectural Models. What a fantastic job. Doug also showed me a prototype of a building facade (center section is a 3D pushout) that can be ordered in sections to make it double wide or double high. I told him to write my order !!! What detail ! You cannot find models of this quality for such a reasonable price.

Eliot-

Thanks for kind words. I thoroughly enjoyed learning about your railroad inspirations while getting the nickel tour. We are fortunate to have a presence alongside so many other great building models on your layout!

To summarize my direction on cityscape/streetfront buildings, they are designed to be built as either flats, 1” deep shadowboxes or 6” deep buildings with associated sides/parting walls and rear elevations. All shadowboxes and buildings have individual floors and ceilings. We ran a Series 1 of six buildings that has basically sold out in a limited production of the 1” deep shadowboxes. I have the painted  fronts to sell as flats and 6” deep buildings when the time is right.

Bill-

That is our prototype for an upcoming model. We want to make sure all parts fit before we start production. This one and future ones may also be offered as kits as Eliot is suggesting. We’re trying to come up with a variety of add-on parts so that the builder, whether it is us or a hobbyist, can basically kit bash out of the kit.

If you have a similarly styled building in mind as the one shown above, please share it with us for our consideration to produce it. We’re looking to develop a series of six streetscape buildings that range in height from 5 stories to 8, 9 or 10. I should be in the shop all day tomorrow!67A0A1AC-BDB9-4C75-ABCD-9F2C5FFD1A68
