Quick question for the electrical folks of the forum... Is there any reason why it would be dangerous to use these ground bars in lieu of the MTH terminal block.

I noticed the ground bar is significantly cheaper with more connections possible. In this instance I would be using it to wire my Atlas 3 rail uncoupling tracks. But would think about using it anytime I would use a terminal block in future applications.

Thanks so much for your help and your patience with an electrical novice.

I used them for common connection Outside rail.  I used isolated (insulated bars (neutral bars from old panels)), with plastic stand-offs, from the plywood backing. Metal bars, designed to attach to the electric panel box, with out isolation, would work as well. IMO.

Note: Accessory common and track common were the same, terminated on the same bar.

Track power upper center picture (8 circuits) each fused.

Accessory power.  Right of center.

Have fun with your wiring.    Mike CT.
