I'm adding guard rails to bridge tracks I'm building. I'm trying to find out what the angle should be on the ends bending inward?
Anybody have a picture of how they should look? I don't want to wreck them with something that looks wrong.
I thought I had one. I can't find an end shot.

I've seen them bent inward on the ends. Almost forming a long "diamond" shape. When I was involved with the local 2 foot gauge park railroad, we didn't bend the ends...just let it run straight. Thankfully we never needed to find out if that was the "proper" way to do guardrails.

You might try the SEARCH function, as I remember a discussion about guard rails on bridges & trestles, quite some time back. There were also some really nice photos.
