I've been experimenting with some aluminum peel off tops from iced tea containers. I made a section of guide rail for one of my scrap loads. I cut the strip about 5/8" wide, and used a thin brazing rod for the outer curves, and a larger diameter rod for the center. Apparently, there is a coating on one side; I etched it with muratic acid, and only one side darkened. I used flat black, and gray primers to age the shiny, non reactive side. I'll try sanding the next piece before forming. Here are a few photos:
