Thank you. Yes I still need a few more of the Lionel CN Bathtub Gondolas. The Coal mine loading tracks hold 12 cars at a time and I need to have a longgg Coal drag to run.

This looks great! What are you using for your industrial lighting? I've been experimenting with small diameter automotive brake line which I bend and place a LED in the flared end. But I have a refinery area in the works and am looking for some lighting ideas. Thanks.

 

Here is a brake line parking lamp.

Dsilevr, The lighting on the refinery is "grain of wheat" and gives off a more 50'S, 60'S LOOK. If you look at the CUS (TRAIN TERMINAL) you can see the LED lighting which gives off a slight "BLUE" look.

I have LEDs that are very focused to a small spot in a building. What kind do I need for a building interior ceiling that cover a wider area?

How were you able to gather some of the very big structures? Retail on some of those is very expensive.

Stu I don't know the amswer to your quwstion. Maybe if you have a chance look inside an MTH  building and see what they used.

Magnificent job on the refinery... I may have missed, but where did the lighting come from all around the refinery?

Frank, Thank you for the very nice comments. Alan Graziano from NJ Scrath built the Refinery for us. He built it in about 6 modules for ease of handling it. The E N T I R E  REFINERY is a WORK OF ART BY ALAN. He used Grain of Wheat bulbs and the lighting level is T O T A L L Y  A W E S O M E when viewing it in the dark.

I wi;; post a few close up pictures so you can see them. We use the accessory voltage level off the transformer and set the level to the brightness level desired. We try to run it low to make the life of the bulds last.
