Friends,

 

Many of us here on the OGR  Forum have known Marty Fitzhenry for years as he has been a long time member and/or has helped many of us out with our train related problems. Marty's vast train related knowledge is second to none, as is his generosity to help others here. Many of us have even visited his impressive layout which is  always open to forum members.

 

Friday is Marty's birthday. Since Thursday is Thanksgiving and many people will be away, I am posting this now so some of you have a chance to wish Marty a happy birthday before the holiday.

 

Let me start by wishing Marty a happy birthday. Marty has been a great friend for years, and I'm sure many will be agree that he is an asset to our hobby,  as is his girlfriend Dotty and cat Ralph.

 

Wish Marty a happy birthday below.

Happy Birthday Marty to one of the best friends i have ever known 

Even though we have never met you have been there for me for everything from Train parts to advice on things outside of trains. You are the type of person that is very rare and when one finds someone like this you need to keep them as close to you as possible.

Wow, I just saw this and can not thank you enough.  I appreciate all your kind remarks.  I have very strong feelings for all the great people on the OGR Forum.  Exactly three years ago before my prostate cancer operation I was convinced I was not going to celebrate any more birthdays.  All the help from Dotty, Erol, and all the great people here calling and sending regards and best wishes gave me strength.  I hope to be here for a while and enjoy the company of all the great people who have posted to this.  As you all know, my home and layout is open to all you great people.  I have enjoyed all the people who have visited and I hope to see more.

 

Our hobby is very special and I consider all of you as good friends.  Anytime I can be of help, please contact me.  I appreciate all you great people.  Erol (Locolawyer), thank you  good friend.
