Many of today's gifts are gift cards but many people just toss them away after spending them but if you have some of the old Lionel MPC Geeps and you know how touchy it is getting the shell off without scratching it. I always have some spent gift cards in my tool box and when removing the shell you can slightly slip them down along side the cab and slowly slide the shell off and to replace it I hold the cards against the cab with one hand and with the other slightly spread the hand rails until they're pressing against the cards and carefully slide the shell back in place.
