Hey Guys,
I am making a small tunnel, with plywood sides. I want the sides to look like fitted rock. I know I could order some type of peel and stick "stone" surface, but I wonder if anyone has tried this:
Coat a plywood surface with a heavy duty gray construction adhesive, such as PL-9, smooth it out very quicky with a plastic putty knife (lightly coated in mineral spirits), pour crushed limestone on it (used for driveways), press it down really hard and flat by hand or with another piece of plywood, and then let it dry.
I guess I can run an experience first, but I just wonder if anybody has tried this.
