Headed to Baltimore today. Any good hobby shops in the area?

Jeff any trip to Baltimore for those that are into trains, that doesn't include a trip to the B&O Museum, is a crime. Just all the equipment that is outside is worth it, the roundhouse and it's displays inside are fantastic.

Phillips relocated from the Light Street Pavilion to the former location of ESPN Zone in the fall.

Probably the best train shop in the Baltimore area is MB Klein, about 20 miles north of the city off I-83.

There was a family-owned train shop in Dundalk, called French's Trains. Perhaps someone closer to Baltimore can chime in on whether they are still in business.

You've got M B Klein (Model Train Stuff) in Hunt Valley; Catoctin Mtn Trains in Thurmont; Engine House Hobbies in Gaithersburg; Side Track Hobbies in Leonardtown (about a 2 hr drive from Baltimore); JusTrains in Newark, DE just to name a few.
But, by all means try to stop in at the B&O Railroad Museum on West Pratt St or, at least, the B&O RR Station in Ellicott City (part of the B&O Museum).
