Merry Christmas everyone!

Am hoping someone can point out what I'm missing here. Am trying to hook up a Z1000 brick through the TIU to power thetrack and getting nothing to the track. Brick seems OK and I see a small red light inside the TIU so assume its getting power.

Brick wired to Fixed 1 input and track wired from Fixed 1 DCS out.  Is this correct please?

First time trying this without the Z4000 in the mix...

Thanks

Another question - Does the TIU have a fuse inside perchance?

Was running our Legacy Mikado and as it was reversing, the coupler briefly shorted on the center rail. The breaker tripped on the Z1000 and after a reset the TUI seems 'dead'. Taken out of the loop, the Mike is running again...

If the internal 20amp fuse is blown and the TIU is not being run by aux power the whole thing will not work. It is possible to blow both the 20 amp fuse and the 1000 breaker at the same time.

If the red light is on in the TIU the 20 amp internal fuse is good providing you are only powering the TIU through fixed 1. if the light is not on you need to remove the TIU cover and inspect the fuse. If you need a fuse and do not have a new one you can take one out of one of the other spots or take a 20 amp out of your car. Do you really need windshield wipers when you are running trains.
