I am looking to glue plastruct hand rails to the top lid of a can. I would like to know what glue to use if I use plastic hand rails on the can, or what glue to use if I use brass hand rails on the can,
I have successfully used Loctite Supper glue (ACC) in the small blue dispencers for several years with great results. Give it a try. A suggestions= It does dry in 5 seconds so place a very small drop on the part being glued too and hold the placing part on the glue drop and count to 20 and let go.
Using a hammer and chisel I have suceeded in some instances in seperating the glued items.
The best glue I found for literally gluing anything to anything else is Gorilla Glue. The only caution is to use it sparingly because this glue actually expands as it dries.

Bobbo
While that glue is good, the dang expansion/foaming issue is a problem sometimes.
...Bobbo- side note, I used to have cycle plates with your handle on them...{my nickname}

I'd go with CA or 2 part epoxy and the longer the seting time the better the bond is supposed to be...gives you extra fudge time then too.
