Bad wheels: Need Advice

I got my Montgomery Ward Illini set today and found out that my wheels are in very bad shape. They are cracked and flaking, making the engine waddle and derail when operated. I know that I can obtain replacement wheels, but how would you replace them?

It's time to learn how to pull and replace locomotive wheels. Which is easy to do with the correct tools. Buy yourself a good quality wheel puller (stay away from the cheap modified battery terminal pullers). Contact the Marx collectors here. They can point you in the right direction for replacement wheels. Good Luck!
