Hi Forumites. I am working on an F3 NYC and wish to repaint the frame. Is there a shade of Krylon that matches up to the grey Lionel used? Any suggestions will be appreciated! Thank You, Tom in PGH

Tom,
Unfortunately I do not know of any paint that really matches the original color,
you are probably going to have to ge as close as possible.
Tom,
You might want to check out the, Now having Breakfast at Eat'n Park thread,
sence we are having breakfast/train talk in Murrysville, Pa and you life in the PGH area. If you want to join in the fun sign up on that thread and come to Breakfast
on the 23rd at 10:00 Am. Patrick H has invited us all over to his home, about a mile away, to see and run his incredible layout, after breakfast.

You may be able to get it in Weaver scale coat 2 spray bomb. If you can airbrush there are a few sources.

Lionel seemed to use the actual NYC colors on this model, perticularly the dark gray. Scale coat and other RR model specific paints may match exactly if you are lucky.
Big/old hobby shops can help you out.
