Been awhile guys good Great to be back

Does anyone know of a step by step listing of tasks involved in laying down track? I am using old style Lionel O tubular with foam roadbed on top of 1"pink board glued on top of 1/2 plywood. That’s done. Have two levels and 350 ft track if I remember right

I plan on ballast and want to shape the pink foam board to add contour and realism Seems like some point will need base paint to cover shaped pink board. I can’t tell if I am over thinking this but the progression is confusing to me. Also any place to see finished layouts with this set up.

Thanks for you help

On Eric Siegel's YouTube channel he has a video of installing Atlas track on foam roadbed, Flexxbed I think. That might be of some help to you? He also has videos on ballast and many other things.

Search for Eric Siegel or ericstrains on YouTube or try this link:

Warning: Eric has some excellent videos and also a mighty fine train collection that he does reviews on. You could be there for a long while!
