HELLO,Im new to model trains.I have two train sets from mth o scale.First set requires 042 curve(min)and the second 036 curve.I cant come up with a layout design and i have to go off the wall to get train from point a and b.(back and forth)I have a desk that cant be moved so have to go inbetween wall and desk.(See Drawing Attached)Also need a swing gate near room entrance to complete track. ANY SUGGESTIONS PLEASE HELP NEED LAYOUT IDEAS,PICTURES,ETC.

You have lots of choices for different "people" bridges.  Here are mine.

Your clearances will probably determine what type you use.

This 2 Track Atlas Truss Bridge is on my main lines.

This single track Atlas Truss Bridge still needs it's guard railing.

This Lift Out bridge is shown upside down with protective wiring.

This Swing bridge is used for lack of overhead clearance.

Alex, this info is from 2006 and not current.  I'm adding the lift assist bridges to my website with photos, drawings, and construction info.  I'll post here when it's ready.

The Atlas 2 track bridge, has the 30# gas spring, Part# GSNI530030 and the bracket, Part# BR1010.
This Website gives a good explanition of gas springs and how they work.   www.guden.com/gas_springs_index.asp"
