I had this request in an existing idea/build thread, but I really need some electronic help.  As you can see when I installed the flickering camp fire led onto the led strip inside the car, it makes the whole car flicker. 🤷‍♂️  Any help with just the fire on top flickering and not the whole car?  Thx in advance for any ideas.

What is meant by I installed the flickering camp fire led onto the led strip,  Is this an Evans flickering LED that operates over a wide voltage range and can be hooked directly to AC track voltage?  Is the LED strip being driven by GRJ's constant-current LED module?

IF the flickering LED is placed across the LED strip (i.e., in parallel) and driven by a constant-current power module, the LED strip will dim when the flickering LED turns on and vice versa.  If this is what's going on I think you could attach the 2 wires to the flickering LED to the power module BEFORE the constant-current IC chip.  This would mean no additional components required...and in the case of GRJ's LED module you'd get the benefit of the DCS choke.  But I'd want GRJ to chime in before firing up the soldering iron.
