The other day at the club I was running an engine with my Legacy and another member was using their Cab-1.  We both had different engine numbers however when he pushed his horn button on the Cab-1 my horn blew, and when he changed his speed my engine jerked.  If I blew my horn his did not respond. like wise his did not respond to any speed changes I made.

I changed my engine number and all was as it should be.

I believe their cab-1 has an issue.

What does anyone else think?

Engine 99 is "all" for Legacy engines. At least the later ones.

his engine was 6 and 8 as I recall, mine was 75. forgot to mention he was running a train as train 8.

we have never had this kind of issue with Legacy and TMCC in the 4 years I have been in the club,  and we have run both many times.

when the new cab1L's come out we hope to take out the cab1 system but a lot of members own their own cab1 and do not want to buy another or use the clubs.

one other thing we have four lines, on that day was conventional two were legacy and one tmcc.  the other legacy was not effected and it was on the lower line next to mine. he was on the upper line with the conventional next to him.

nope.  75 was not used by the other party.  Like I said in the original post I am leaning to a issue with his cab1.  after changing my number, no issue with my engine.

just going to chalk it up to a weird unexplainable issue.

thanks everyone.
