If I ran scale, I'd get one. Reminds me of times when my grandfather would ask me to go down his basement and get a beer for him and my dad. He always had local choices like Black Label, Schmidt's, and POC. My brother-in-law will be getting one from Stockyard, I'm sure.
Nice looking cars.

Thanks for the heads up Mr. M. Just got 1 of each style this morning from Clyde. I'm used to the better woodside offerings from Atlas or MTH ........but these things are especially beautiful .🤓 They are much nicer looking than what the photos can show.
Hey raising4daughters , I'm not sure if you have semi -scale or not ,but these along with the other woodsides from MTH or Atlas look perfectly fine with my RK steamers. ( i hope I don't get you in trouble if i have been a bad influence 🤔😉)

Thanks, but my biggest boxcar is the classic 6464 size. These look quite a bit bigger. That said, I've already forwarded this onto my brother-in-law and I think he's going to get one. He's already got a scale beer train and this will be a good addition. Besides, we both need an excuse to go out to Stockyard Express....about 30 miles west of us.
Not a fan of beer reefers, though I drank pently of black label in my youth, LOL
I remember back in the day, my Dad had a few of these!
Is Carling's Black Label still in production?
I'll have to call them today - thanks Mr. Muffin!
I ordered one yesterday, can't wait to see it in person.
That is a good looking reefer. I take it these were a special run made by MTH??
Yes, they are a special MTH run.
I'm in! Ordered one of the "baseball" versions.
These MTH 36 ft. woodsided beer reefers are very attractive and there are some great older issues out there.
Watch out for reefer madness!

OK Thanks.
Is there anyone out there doing custom run O gauge cars in small quantities? Now that Seymour Knight of Pleasant Valley Process passed away, we have not been able to do a custom car for our Museum in low quantities.

Say a big hello to Clyde for me r4d.
( you'll have to tell him i belong to Judy or he might not remember me )
Anyone have any trouble getting through to Stockyard Express?
I called twice, both times before 5pm, got the answering machine. No call back.
Anyone order via e-mail?
I tried as well to contact them today mid afternoon. No call back.
Thanks, TrainFinder Craig
SEAN and CRAIG , I did a phone order to Stockyard for the two cars . It was on Tuesday the 19th and got them two days later.
Maybe it was too cold to open today. I cant remember Clyde's hours on Saturday.
Thank you Mr.Muffin.
I ordered one of each, including the Christmas edition, and they arrived yesterday. I love those 36 foot reefers.

Does Stockyard even have an email?
I think that Clyde tends to prioritize serving people in the store than answering the phone if it's busy. In the past, I've been able to follow up the next day successfully.

He's closed Mondays, just like us.
