YEAHHHHH!!!!! I might even have to go for this one. Excellent choice.

I'd buy one in a heart beat!
It would allow me to explain to guests things like this...

Actually it's correct. On any moving object the FIELD OF BLUE always faces the direction of travel.
I've worked on this weapon and many others at the McAlester, Oklahoma plant/Depot. We are glad to finally see it used versus sitting inside an earth covered magazine. This is actually a display model of the GBU-43B. Contrary to the goofy news channels this is not the largest conventional weapon! This is the largest conventional air burst weapon, however there is a GBU-57A/B which is considerably larger and has been used several times in Afghanistan.
Here's my version that I made up of Menards items. The flat car was the one with the Pepsi truck on it, and this truck came with a mystery box in its own box and to me is so fitting for this post.

I got the same vehicle in a Mystery Box back in January along with an Owl Market and several items of rolling stock.
Wild Mary it came in a plain cardboard brown box with a tag on each end
Menards SKU# 279-3924
Description ( looks like a H is scratch out ) O scale Missile Launching
Truck.

I posted a picture of this item back in January and another forum member identified it as a Chinese DF-31 missile with mobile launcher. It is intercontinental in range.

Unless everything must be perfect on your layout this works for me.

Thanks, that SKU # doesn't work on their web site but apparently they do offer a missile launching truck on a flat. Guess I overlooked that one since the truck and missile are HO..

Based on my own observation, I am fairly certain that Menards has not offered this item up anywhere except as a Mystery Box item. I received mine in a Mystery Box back in early January with the same SKU that RTRAINCOLLECTOR indicated and packaged in the same fashion. Retailers will regularly assign a SKU to all items even if they don't reach the website or store shelf. Menards may have offered this item in limited release in some stores, but I've not heard any reports on the forum that this is the case.
I have placed my missile launcher on a Menards military flat similar to that shown in the picture, I would venture that others have done the same.

I would say no. I would say this person did the same thing. He in my point of view is a person not to deal with as he likes to inflate all is prices to almost double. If you notice it is on a O gauge flat. Looks like the 14" one. I've seen him mix and match other stuff or just sell a part of a flat car set up.
Thanks Bill, I agree.

Way to go Bob!

Here are some photos of the GBU-43 AND GBU-57 I mentioned in different configurations for anyone wanting to attempt building the cradles, etc...
Use as you see fit.
