I have a creek that goes under track and towards a wall. I would like to see your pictures or hear your ideas on how I can create the illusion that the water goes forever and disappears around a bend, behind rock, foliage, etc.
Note in the real-life photo, the stream does go around a bend, off to the right, in the distance, but the full view of it is obstructed by foliage and the curve.
In my modeling (inspired by the place, above, I visited), I built-in a curve that suggests the effluence comes from the right, "off-camera," as it were.
The entire stream is suggested to be under this landscape....
This is the opposite. The stream comes out of the layout into an imaginary river. The spring flows into a collecting basin and then out of the large culvert into the river below.
