Did you cover the porch with wood or is it painted to look like wood?
Thank you for noticing. It is Raw Umber acrylic from Michael's. I first used it on the brewery dock that I did a while ago. It doesn't cover completely with one coat, so it comes out great. Right now everyone is still asleep upstairs; just the guy that has to milk the cows is up. The roof is not screwed on so I still have that option. It depends on whether I want more wire and another switch in the works. I like to not light the whole building to make it more believable.
Thanks for the tip. I will have to try the Raw Umber. I have done several projects where I covered the plastic with thin wood strips. But the porch on your house would be hard to do that way because of all the posts.

I took the porch back off to get a better picture. The brewery came out a little different because it started out gray.
