I have home movies, including some with me playing with my 1st trains in the early 1950s.

I'm considering having 8 millimeter reels of film converted to digital.

Many of you, including Peter Condro, have posted old home movies with you as a child with trains on this Forum.

Have any of you folks had such home movies digitized? If so, who digitized them, and are you happy with them?

Have you heard of Everpresent, a company the digitizes home movies? If so, what do you think of Everpresent?

Have you thought about using a home unit and converting it yourself.  I used Wolverine Movie Maker Pro converter to do my old family 8 mm.  I'm done with it and am willing to sell for $100 dollars and shipping.  Give me a call from my profile and we can figure out a way to make sure it is you if interested.  It did a good job, it was easy to use, and I can send you a link to a posted example.  There are many examples of how to use it on youtube.

That’s the non sprocket unit - that does frame by frame digitizing? I believe there was a lower and higher resolution model. Does, that unit copy to memory  card or software via computer. Does 8mm and Super 8?

David, I appreciate your offer but I'm going to have one of the businesses that does digitizing convert my 8 MM home movies (that are 60 to 80 years old) to digital form.
