Does anyone have any photos of some homemade station platforms? I'm trying to get some ideas. I'm looking to make a commuter style platform roughly 25" long.

I don't know if this is what you're looking for, but it's one I'm currently working on. A thin piece of mdf over 1/2" plywood. I put put on a thin coating of spackle and then painted and weathered it. Still need to get fencing, lights, etc.

Zeke that's really nice work! I'm not looking for anything specific. Just trying to fish around and get some ideas. A lot of the members are very talented. Also I rather scratch build one then spend 25 dollars or more on plastic.

I made the platform out of 1/4" x 3"x 24" basswood with 3/8" Square as the base. Perfect height if used with cork and Atlas track.

Here it's shown in an unfinished area.

I used 1/8 tempered hard board/Masonite on top of 1/2 inch plywood risers.
