I built a layout for a family with my 3rd graders as a community outreach project. I have had it at home for a while and have built a better 4x6 table for it. I would also like to hook up the accessory terminals to a regular outlet and plug a power strip into said outlet. I'd like to put regular two prong plugs onto the accessories, and plug them in, rather than run them to a terminal block. My reasoning is that the gentleman set to receive the layout is more a novice than I, and of course under current conditions, would prefer to set it up himself. Before I go to this plan, is it possible? Do any of the rest of you have a similar set-up? Thank you for your time.

IMO, extremely dangerous! (at least as it is worded when I am writing this)
It's only a matter of time before someone plugs the accessories directly into a 120 volt outlet, assuming I am reading your wording correctly (I re-read it 3 times to make sure I wasn't having a misunderstanding). At the very least you will have a dead set of accessories and probably also a FIRE!!
Use any type of low voltage connectors, DO NOT USE AC POWER PLUGS AND OUTLETS!!!
Hopefully I misunderstand and you meant something else. But when I see "regular outlet" and "regular two prong plug", that's what comes to mind, and its a VERY BAD IDEA!

A better option might be banana plugs. They come in single and double style and are fairly large making they easy to use and very robust. Also available in solder and set screw wire connections.
Dave, I would be making these two prong connectors only long enough to plug into a power strip under the layout which is connected to an outlet, also under the layout, which is connected to the accessory terminals from the CW-80. Only the CW-80 would go into the wall outlet
Scottie has recommended banana plugs and I am going to look into that. Thank you for your reply, and I apologize for poorly describing the plan in the first place.
It will work. Old school modular layouts often used them; and there were accidents too
It really is just a matter of time before someone strings and extension cord up to a male plug.
At least go to a 220 plug/outlet or the T shape 120 (|-).
Other plug styles such as molex would be a safer and likely cheaper way imo.
