How is the easiest way to install breakers?

I have 2 80 watt transformers,and 1 PW ZW.I would like to make sure that
I dont ruin my TMCC locomotives.So is the best and safest way to do that,is to run a circuit break from each line,coming out of my transformer to the track.And what type,and what size wire,and were is the best place to buy them.I have seen several post on this subject but it seems a little bit confusing to me on exacly what wire and what circuit breakers to purchase?My layout size isnt that big,I would say 8ft by 10ft that goes around the room.It extends out about 2 feet all the way around the room,with about a 6ft by 1ft duck under.I hope that make sense.
