How many basic loops off one LionChief wall wart? | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

The LionChief wall wart outputs 18V at 2000mA. Supposing you plugged it into a Miller Engineering power distribution board; How many basic 40” X 60” loops could be powered from a single wall wart? Assume running the modern passenger sets that come in the RTR LionChief sets on each loop; Steam Engine Tender and three passenger cars with LED illumination.

What are the possibilities? … Most output in currently available DC wall warts: How many trains and loops could be operated under the supposed parameters?

I don't have a LionChief wall wart to look at, but do you maybe have a typo?

200 mA (0.2 A) only come up with 3.6 watts(0.2 x 18) at 18 volts. Seems like not enough to even run a starter set engine.

It was a typo, the wall wart outputs 2000mA. I would think that you would be lucky to run two engines with that.
