How to add passengers to K line dome car? | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I have the K line GN Great Dome car and want to add passengers to top section! I have the car apart--does the tan plate below the seats slide out or do you have to pinch the the top dome to remove? Thanks, Don

My guess is to gently try to slide it out, the Lionel cars made the same way do slide out. It it does move be careful as the plastic can be brittle a very small drop of plastic friendly oil down the slide shaft will go a long way.

Found the two screws on each end which holds a tab on roof, guess pinch and work loose?
