I have a older F40PH engine and am trying to replace the wick. The chimney is in the way of the two screws to remove the cover. Does the chimney just pull off? I tried and I am afraid it might break because it does not just pop off.

Normally you could just turn it. Sometimes the smoke fluid swells the plastic and makes it stuck.
Have you got a right angle screwdriver? Inexpensive ones look like the ones in eBay auction number 153664780983
The funnel comes off, just yank it off. As Roy says, you can also swivel it.
I both turned it and yanked it and it solved the problem, guys. Thanks so much!
