I have two DCS remotes, the one that I use primarily starts up whichever engine I select however, when I go to change the direction or it doesn’t respond. I have to turn off the transformer to get the trains to stop. I thought perhaps the batteries were bad so I changed the batteries, no change in the remotes function. I can do a read and it finds the TIU’s and whatever Train is on the track.
I then put new, fresh batteries in my spare remote, it doesn’t even turn on. I checked that the batteries were good and they are but no response from the remote.
so my question is, can the remotes be repaired and if so, can you recommend someone to repair them. Thank you in advance
