Looking for some suggestions on how to attach my flats to a finished painted wall without damaging the wall. Thanks in advance for your replies.

If you are talking about building fronts, you could use museum wax, AKA earthquake wax.
If you are talking about backdrop panels, that is another question.
If your are talking about building fronts Command Hooks have Command Velcro Pads I use to hang Railroad Jig Saw puzzles and they work very well and will not damage your wall and can be removed real easy.
The trick to removal of adhesive is heat from a blowdryer.
Set the flats against the wall??
Fabricate short sidewalls??
The Coal tipple can be removed. ?? (Modular, on bases)
I'm sorry I should have been more specific, They are building fronts & the wall is painted sheetrock ( satin finish). They are on layout level.
