This may be a dumb question, but I have a Lionel 6-32919 Maiden Rescue animation and I wan tho wire it into my S gauge layout. Have you done this and can you provide wiring instructions?
I can do the old trial and error method, but it would be great if someone has the experience to share with an electrically challenged model railroader.

You would need an American Flyer #697 track trip to activate the accessory. Wiring can be found in the instructions, which would be the same for the Lionel #153.

Hi, the 697 is the easy part, I actually have a couple of them. As for the wiring there are three posts on the Rescue Maiden Accessory.
I will try it using a combination of the instructions that came with the 6-32919 and the flyer instructions for the 697 switch.

Below is the picture from the manual. Basically, you need to bring the transformer power to the Maiden Rescue on pins 1 (common) and 2 (hot) and then connect pin 1 to pin three to activate the motion. The constant power runs the lighting all the time.

Ok, now I think I have got it. I will give it a test tomorrow, my 696 trips only have one wire but I think it will get the common from the track.
