I wanted a nice wooden bridge for the new elevated loop on my lay out.

I was left alone today so I spent the day in the shop and found myself building a bridge. LOL I will stain and install the brass rods tomorrow so I can install it on the layout.

Happy New year to everyone.

I tried one of these a while back.  I remember the frustration threading the rods to get a couple of nuts on each.  It wasn't until I tried placing the die in the vise and running the rod in and out with the drill that i found relief.  There are 112 rods. Was not my design, I found a blueprint and followed that.

I ended up placing it with two other bridges across a river and I call it " Three Bridges" after a place we used to swim when I was a kid.  Those of you from central Jersey know what I am talking about. Punchsort 012
